JFF VP Joel Vargas in “What Did He Get Right? Reactions to Gov. Newsom's Higher Education Budget”

JFF Vice President Joel Vargas was recently quoted in an EdSource article that offered a roundup of reactions by California state officials and education professionals to Gov. Gavin Newsom’s proposed higher education budget.

Responding to the question “What priority should have been in the budget but wasn’t?” Vargas said, “Many of these evidenced-based strategies are complementary.
