JFF’s Cat Ward in “3 Ways to Keep L&D Relevant as Burnout Reaches New Levels”

JFFLabs Managing Director Cat Ward was quoted in a recent HR Dive article about the pressures facing corporate learning and development departments at a time when many employers are trying to help workers cope with burnout by offering more training options.

Noting that it may not be the time to encourage employees to pursue learning for learning’s sake, and stressing that poorly implemented training programs can feel like just another on-the-job burden for workers, Ward said, “[Companies] who are most successful I think are the ones who are going to be able to associate learning with genuine opportunity and advancement.”
