Luis, Javan, and Justin turned their lives around with help from Opportunity Works. Learn how the national effort paved
pathways to postsecondary and career success for 2,000+ youth who had been out of school and out of work.
Juan left high school and became homeless. But he has skills and drive and found a Back on Track program to help him prepare for a career in IT. JFF helps employers leverage an untapped workforce of low-income young adults like Juan who can fill their talent gaps.
"An attractive part of the program was that I could work and get paid, while getting experience in the field I wanted to make my career. It was ideal!" says Daniel Boucree, a Louisiana native participating in a local Opportunity Works program so he can get on track to a career.
While employment rates in the U.S. are improving, young people seeking to enter the workforce continue to be disproportionately unemployed. JFF joined forces with the Aspen Forum for Community Solutions and a powerful coalition of leading companies to expand economic mobility for young adults.
