Redefining Responsibility for Greater Pathways Impact

States across the country have set ambitious goals to build high-quality, accessible pathways systems. But limited resources, fragmented systems, and institutional silos often stand in the way. Redefining Responsibility: How Regional Collaboratives Can Expand Pathways Capacity and Impact is a new publication from the Launch Initiative, a collaboration between Jobs for the Future (JFF), AdvanceCTE, Education Strategy Group, and New America, designed to guide states to advance pathways systems innovation and impact. This report examines how cross-sector collaboration at the regional level is bridging the gap between state vision and local implementation by bringing together K–12, postsecondary, workforce, and employer partners around shared goals.
