Great Lakes College and Career Pathways Partnership
May 7, 2018
At a Glance
We support Great Lakes communities in building high-quality college and career pathways that equip students—particularly students who have historically been marginalized or underrepresented—to thrive in college, career, and beyond.
Funded by the Joyce Foundation, the Great Lakes College and Career Pathways Partnership (GLCCPP) seeks to improve the educational and employment outcomes of youth in four Great Lakes regions. These communities are scaling and sustaining a robust college and career pathways ecosystem that better serves all young people:
- Central Ohio/Greater Columbus, Ohio
- Madison, Wisconsin
- Northwest Suburbs of Chicago, Illinois
- Rockford, Illinois
JFF is helping the communities develop critical capacity and systemic infrastructure—particularly at the postsecondary education and employer levels. JFF also supports clarifying and strengthening the design, implementation and improvement of industry-aligned pathways, with a focus on:
- Postsecondary engagement and pathways alignment
- Employer engagement and work-based learning
- Governance and infrastructure
