Overview

This self-paced online training course will help you expand pathways to apprenticeship for people with disabilities. This course was co-designed by Jobs for the Future and the Institute for Community Inclusion (ICI) at the University of Massachusetts, Boston, with support from the U.S. Department of Labor.

Why is this course important?

Only 41% of people with disabilities participate in the labor force, compared with 77% of those without disabilities. Employers, apprenticeship sponsors, policymakers, and other stakeholders have a crucial role to play in strengthening recruitment, hiring, and retention practices to ensure people with disabilities can access apprenticeship opportunities and thrive in the workforce.
