At a GlanceBeyond the Higher Education Emergency Relief Fund Cliff: Making Emergency Aid Standard Practice
The NASPA Annual Conference is the premier student affairs professional development event.
With over 8,300 participants and exhibitors, the 2021 NASPA Virtual Conference was the Association’s largest conference to date. The 2022 NASPA Annual Conference is shaping up to be special, featuring speakers who engage participants in thoughtful reflection on the field, hundreds of educational sessions presented by over 1,000 student affairs educators, and networking events that engage and inspire us to do our work on campus. We hope to see you in Baltimore as we reunite in person in March 2022!
About the session:
For perhaps the first time in history, the supply of emergency funding for students is meeting demand, thanks to the billions in federal dollars under the Higher Education Emergency Relief Fund (HEERF). But these funds won’t last forever—and institutions need to be ready for what’s next. During this panel, join social impact and emergency aid experts to discuss how colleges and universities can plan for a post-HEERF future that makes emergency aid a long-term priority for student success.
