Could an Idea for Fighting Poverty Be Worth a Billion Dollars?
Despite an improving economy, many Americans see their work contributions met with a small slice of the nation’s income. The $1 Billion Wage Gain Challenge is based on the belief that wage gains are a linchpin to America’s long-term economic strength. At the ASU GVS summit, the challenge winners took the opportunity to better outline how to help at least 100,000 people in poverty get the education they need to raise their incomes by $10,000 or more by 2021.
