Digital Credentials in Practice: What Practitioners Should Consider
At a Glance
Join Jobs for the Future (JFF) for a webinar on the partnerships, decisions, and supports needed to build digital credential and Learning and Employment Record (LER) ecosystems that work for learners, workers, employers, and education and workforce organizations.Digital credentials and LERs can help people communicate their skills across education, workforce, and employment systems. But a credential is only useful when it represents meaningful learning, is supported by a strong learner experience, and provides employers and workforce partners with information they can easily understand and act on.
In this session, attendees will examine the practical role practitioners play in helping digital credentials create more value after they are issued. We will explore how organizations can support students in understanding, using, and communicating their credentials; connect credentials to employer and workforce opportunities; and build the partnerships and infrastructure needed for credentials to work better over time.
