JFF is proud to partner with Verizon and Generation USA in line with our commitment to drive economic advancement for all.
In a press release issued jointly with Generation USA, JFF announced that we are working with nine colleges across the country in a pilot of the Verizon Reskilling Program, an IT training effort whose goal is to prepare 500,000 people for tech careers by 2030.
Part of Citizen Verizon, Verizon’s corporate responsibility initiative, the Verizon Reskilling Program will offer participants free online training designed to help them develop skills that are in demand in the IT labor market.
“JFF is proud to partner with Verizon and Generation USA in line with our commitment to drive economic advancement for all,” JFF President and CEO Maria Flynn said in the press release. “We are excited to continue working with bold employers like Verizon, established workforce systems, and innovative training providers like Generation USA to expand access to career opportunities in this growing sector.”
