In California’s Central Valley, the agriculture industry is growing, offering high-paying, family-sustaining careers. Despite this opportunity, few young people in the region have the skills necessary to gain employment in the field and meet employers’ needs.
This series details how The Wonderful Company, together with JFF, is tackling this skills gap through the Wonderful Agriculture Career Prep program. Its vision is to prepare youth for college and career success, and cultivate tomorrow’s leaders in agriculture, business, science, and technology.
