Ray Barbosa is a senior analyst in the Research, Evaluation & Analytics unit at JFF. He identifies opportunities for workers to attain quality jobs and focuses on those that pay a living wage and have accessible on-ramps that don’t require postsecondary education. He also supports JFF’s data systems and tools development.

His skills and areas of expertise include:

• Providing regional context and strategic insights through labor market information
• Creating tools and processes for efficient data collection and analysis
• Providing technical assistance to educational institutions, training providers, and community-based organizations

Before joining JFF, Barbosa was a contractor at the U.S. Energy Information Administration, collecting and validating energy-related survey data.
