JFF CEO Maria Flynn in “To ‘Build Back Better,’ We Must Prepare People for the Jobs We’re Creating”
JFF CEO Maria Flynn recently published an opinion column on the Work Shift website in which she argues that the final version of the Build Back Better legislation now making its way through Congress must include funding for training programs.
She points out that the Build Back Better plan and the bipartisan infrastructure bill could create millions of new jobs, and without a significant investment in training, she says, “this could unintentionally create millions of new jobs without preparing workers to fill them.”
