Sandra Lee is a senior program manager on the Pathways to Prosperity team at JFF.
In her role, she contributes to JFF’s work with state and regional leaders across the country, developing policies and strategies to support college and career pathways.
Before coming to JFF in May 2019, Sandra spent eight years at the Boston Chinatown Neighborhood Center, where she served as the director of youth education. There, she led and evaluated programs, oversaw program expansion to new locations, and facilitated partnerships between school districts and community-based organizations.
She has expertise in youth development and has worked with immigrant youth and young people of color in particular. She also has experience in grassroots organizing and is dedicated to authentic community engagement.
After working on the ground with young people and families for more than a decade, Sandra was excited to join JFF, where she has the opportunity to engage in and facilitate systems-level work in the education and workforce development fields.
In 2018, the Massachusetts Nonprofit Network presented Sandra with the Young Professional Excellence Award, in recognition of her contribution to the youth development field and nonprofit sector.
