ABA: NGA+T Youth Council of Changemakers Program

Join us for the launch of the inaugural cohort of the Next Generation Apprenticeship for Next Generation Talent Youth Council of Changemakers program! We’re seeking up to 6 enthusiastic young adults currently engaged in ABA: NGA+T funded pre-apprenticeship or apprenticeship programs to serve as advisors to grant leadership, starting November 2024. Your unique perspectives will help shape program design, refine recruitment strategies, enhance workplace culture, and ensure sustainability efforts. Be a part of this exciting opportunity to make a real impact!

Eligibility

• Must be between the ages of 18-24 years old.
• Be a pre-apprentice or apprentice.
• Must be located in the following states: Florida, Maine, Pennsylvania, Delaware, New Jersey, Virginia, Georgia, Massachusetts, Illinois, Colorado, Idaho, Michigan, Missouri, Iowa, Mississippi, Kansas, Montana, Louisiana, Washington, California, New York, Ohio, New Mexico, or Texas.

Expectations

• Attend three virtual meetings over a 10-month period.
• Collaborate with other council members.
• Meet and work with JFF staff.
• Travel to one in-person convening in Boston (after completing the cohort, selected YCC members have the opportunity to participate in final in-person engagements).
• Propose ideas for a final project.

Compensation

• $200 stipend per virtual meeting.
• Reimbursement for travel to in-person meeting.
