Todd Weissman
Senior Project Manager
Todd Weissman is a member of JFF’s Back on Track team, which manages city, state, and network initiatives aimed at improving educational options and outcomes for young people who have disengaged or disconnected altogether from the educational system. He leads JFF’s emerging body of work, Counseling to Careers, designed to help programs and counselors use labor market information to develop and better connect students with more seamless postsecondary pathways that lead to high-demand, high-wage, and career-track employment. He also supports JFF’s postsecondary on-ramps work designed to develop new pathways for older youth through close partnerships between employers, training providers, and postsecondary institutions.
Prior to joining JFF, Mr. Weissman was an analyst at Eduventures, where he advised deans and executive staff in schools of education on issues related to financial and organizational management, market research, and community engagement. His work included the development of strategies for engaging statewide policymakers, business leaders, and educational leaders; assessing the viability of developing or modifying program offerings; and identifying operational and financial benchmarks at schools of education. He previously taught second and third grade in Massachusetts and Wisconsin.
Mr. Weissman holds an Ed.M. in policy, planning, and administration; and a B.S. in elementary education, both from Boston University.
Jobs for the Future develops, implements, and promotes new education and workforce strategies that help communities, states, and the nation compete in a global economy. In more than 200 communities in 43 states, JFF improves the pathways leading from high school to college to family-sustaining careers.
