She has also written a case study on the effect of extended learning time programs in the Miami Dade County school district, co-taught fifth- and sixth-grade Spanish, and assisted in recruiting colleges and universities to participate in a collaborative focused on improving satisfaction among tenure-track faculty.
Ms. Starkey has a Master’s in education policy and management from Harvard University and a Bachelor’s in political science and Spanish from Middlebury College.
Jobs for the Future develops, implements, and promotes new education and workforce strategies that help communities, states, and the nation compete in a global economy. In more than 200 communities in 43 states, JFF improves the pathways leading from high school to college to family-sustaining careers.
