
Joshua Gambrell
Chief of Staff, Communications
Joshua Gambrell serves as thought-partner to the vice president of communications in areas of strategic planning, performance outcomes, and partnership development. He also creates and manages workflow systems for JFF’s communications team, from project management, to documenting communications processes, to identifying staff development opportunities.
Before joining JFF, Mr. Gambrell managed community health programs for the Multicultural AIDS Coalition, Inc. He has held several positions in direct social services, including serving as a case manager at the San Francisco AIDS Foundation and an assessment worker for the Massachusetts Department of Social Services.
Mr. Gambrell’s experience ranges from conducting trainings and workshops to coordinating group-level interventions and working with social and medical institutions on a variety of topics, including cultural competency, organizational health, and leadership practices.
Mr. Gambrell holds a Bachelor’s in social work from Wheelock College.
