Jill Frankfort develops and directs initiatives that promote JFF’s work helping states and districts create, scale, and sustain a portfolio of secondary schools where all students can achieve college success. Her work includes documenting and disseminating promising strategies for planning and implementing early college high schools and dual enrollment pathways, and facilitating the communication between partners, schools, and stakeholders of the Early College High School Initiative.

With 10 years of experience as a strategy consultant and education professional, Ms. Frankfort possesses a rare skill set—product development and marketing expertise, as well as a deep knowledge of instructional and school reform issues. Previously, Ms. Frankfort was a consultant for Simon-Kucher & Partners, developing strategy and marketing recommendations and training modules for Fortune 1000 clients, and a marketing manager at Idealab, co-launching and developing early-stage companies. Ms. Frankfort has also consulted for a variety of education clients including TeachFirst, Boston Plan for Excellence, and the Georgia Department of Education.

Ms. Frankfort began her career in education as a research analyst at Policy Studies Associates, conducting quantitative and qualitative research, and co-authoring publications for the U.S. Department of Education. She subsequently worked as a high school math teacher and authored the book 100 Paid Summer Adventures for Teachers.

Ms. Frankfort received a B.A. in educational studies from Brown University and a M.Ed. from Wake Forest University.
