
Clare Bertrand
Senior Project Manager, Back on Track
Clare Bertrand is a senior project manager at JFF working with the Back on Track Through College team, designing and managing web-based projects geared toward helping struggling and off-track youth re-engage and succeed throughout their high school and postsecondary programs. In addition, she works as a trainer and developer for Counseling to Careers. Before working on the Back on Track team, she worked on the Time to Completion Project, as part of the College Productivity Initiative, funded by Lumina Foundation for Education.
Previously, Ms. Bertrand was a project coordinator at Teachers21, a nonprofit organization focused on reshaping the profession of teaching through professional development, district reform efforts, and policy and advocacy work. Her responsibilities included co-directing a national conference on teacher retention. She has also worked as a youth program coordinator at the Mattapan Family Service Center.
Ms. Bertrand has a M.Phil in gender studies from Trinity College, Dublin, Ireland, and a B.A. from James Madison University.
