Chinita Obi
Project Manager
Chinita Obi is a program associate for JFF’s Workforce and Education Policy Group, located in our Washington, DC office. She is responsible for administrative and logistical operations and also assists with research for the DC staff focused on workforce development projects.
Ms. Obi was previously a graduate assistant with the Workforce Development Division of Tidewater Community College in Norfolk, VA. In her capacity as a graduate assistant, Chinita administered WorkKeys testing, assisted with non-credit registration, developed and taught a youth class on postsecondary planning and work readiness, assisted with marketing, and assisted with course development.
Ms. Obi holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Longwood University and a Master of Science in educational leadership from Darden College of Education at Old Dominion University in Norfolk, VA. Her concentration was in student affairs in higher education.
