Comments on the Reauthorization of the Workforce Investment Act

In February 2003, JFF submitted comments to the U.S. House of Representatives, Education and Workforce Committee on the reauthorization of the Workforce Investment Act. The comments focus on the adult provisions of the act, informed by JFF research conducted with employers, employer organizations, and others on the strengths and weaknesses of the current workforce development system from the perspective of employers and their low-wage, low-skilled employees.
