Scaling Up Preliminary Data Analysis

This report is the first analysis of demographic and outcome data reported on career pathway programs participating in the scale up of the national Breaking Through initiative. The five Scaling Up institutions are: Durham Technical Community College (Durham, North Carolina), Lake Michigan College (Benton Harbor, Michigan), Owensboro Community & Technical College (Owensboro, Kentucky), Pamlico Community College (Grantsboro, North Carolina), and Tacoma Community College (Tacoma, Washington).

These programs reported unit data for the 2009-2010 academic year in a template developed by Voorhees Group LLC. These data are preliminary, especially since key outcomes that should be attributed to career pathways programs require time to mature.
