In an era of tight resources and increased local responsibility for programs and services, communities are experimenting with new ways to connect the service dots for children and families. Local intermediary organizations are a promising approach for efficiently and effectively connecting and delivering a range of supportive services. Introducing policymakers and program developers to local intermediary organizations, this issue brief was a collaboration of six organizations.
