The marketplace for e-learning software and services is bypassing the education and training needs of low-income youth and adults. Leapfrogging Over the Status Quo: E-Learning and the Challenge of Adult Literacy examines the potential of e-learning to: respond to the challenges of adult literacy and skill development; and stimulate significant, effective change in the systems providing education and basic workforce preparation services to low-skilled adults.
