High Flyers: Policies and Strategies that Boost Developmental Education Success in Florida's Community Colleges

Florida’s statewide developmental education policies shed light on potential ways to improve the success of students who begin their college careers in developmental education. High Flyers analyzes the features of the Florida policymaking environment that have enabled solid developmental education strategies at three high performing Florida colleges. It features a policy analysis and briefing supported by case studies of the three Florida colleges. High Flyers also includes a questionnaire for state policymakers in other states to use to consider their own policymaking environments vis-a-vis the positive aspects of the Florida policy environment that undergird strong performance.
