"Being at this school and in this environment of constant support made me realize that no matter who you are, or where you come from, you have the potential to fulfill your dreams."
—Lauren Merrell, student, Toledo Early College High School

Early College high schools are an exceptional approach to increasing college readiness and success of high-need students.  Early College schools are based on a radical concept: challenge, not remediation, will motivate educationally underserved young people to complete high school in significantly higher numbers.  They offer an accelerated program of study — one that combines substantial college-level work while earning a high school diploma — that not only motivates greater numbers of students to excel in high school, but also graduates them "college-ready," prepared for the rigors of postsecondary education.

Your tax-deductible contribution to Jobs for the Future's Early College fund will support the expansion of schools and districts that adopt an Early College high school design to increase the number of high-need students who graduate from high school college-ready and with the academic and financial head start of significant college credits.
