About Our Areas of Work
We organize our work into three areas to help low-income youth & adults:

Preparing For College And Career

Preparing for College and Career

GOAL: All lower-income young people graduate high school on a clear path to college completion and career success.

JFF helps school districts prepare struggling students for college and career success. Our work is based on the philosophy that acceleration, not remediation, motivates students to succeed. Our models feature dual enrollment—including our signature Early College Designs—academic supports, and college and career guidance. For students who have left high school, we design programs that reengage them and support their transition to postsecondary education. We also help educators adapt student-centered learning approaches to help them better engage all students, regardless of their skill levels.
