Thomas P. Glynn, JFF board chairman, is a adjunct lecturer in public policy at Harvard University's Kennedy School for Government. He is also a senior fellow for health care delivery reform at the Center for American Progress in Washington, DC.
Prior to his current posts, Glynn served for 14 years as chief operating officer of Partners HealthCare System, a hospital and physician network in Boston. He was responsible for the daily management of functional departments within Partners, including finance, information systems, human resources, legal affairs, treasury, real estate, marketing, communications, and community benefits.
Glynn's health care experience also includes the chairmanship of the Mayor’s Health Care Commission in Boston, five years as Massachusetts deputy welfare commissioner overseeing the Medicaid program, and two years with a health care consulting firm.
