JFF opened our Washington, DC, office in 2008. Through our DC-based staff, JFF encourages the development of effective federal policy, works with both Congress and the Administration to support education and workforce innovations, and regularly collaborates with other reform organizations to advance our shared agendas. JFF also provides evidence-based, nonpartisan information, and technical assistance regarding the annual appropriations and budget process, as well as reauthorizations of major education and workforce laws.

In early 2015, JFF opened a West Coast office to more efficiently and effectively support existing and new work in the region. We currently work with a number of California partners, including the Irvine Foundation, the state’s Department of Education, The California Endowment, and the Success Center for California Community Colleges. We look forward to further enhancing these current partnerships and building relationships with new partners in the region.
