Pei Pei Ma is a director with Students at the Center, a Jobs for the Future initiative that synthesizes and adapts current research on key components of student-centered approaches to learning that leads to deeper learning outcomes. In this role, she provides project management, network building, and concept development and delivery.
Prior to joining JFF in 2017, Ms. Ma was the director of School Launch at UP Education Network, in which she developed and managed a process to launch urban turnaround schools and led an operational leadership development program. Ms. Ma has worked as a consultant with MassInsight Education and was the co-founder of the Connecticut Council for Education Reform. She is the author of State Education Agency Strategies for Recruiting and Evaluating Lead Partners to Support Turnaround (MassInsight Education 2014).
Ms. Ma holds a B.A. in education policy from Brown University, and a Ed.M. in education policy and management from the Harvard Graduate School of Education.
