Micayla Boari is a graphic designer at Jobs for the Future. She creates visual materials for JFF, including publications, events materials, website and social media content, and more. Ms. Boari worked as a contractor at JFF for seven months before becoming a full time employee in October 2016.
Before coming to JFF, Ms. Boari worked for Boston Productions, Inc. which creates interactive exhibits at museums, zoos, and visitor centers. She’s also worked for J.Jill, 360 PR, Boston Children’s Hospital, and the Harvard Nutrition Department. Her work with nonprofits started with her ten-month term in the National Civilian Community Corps (AmeriCorps NCCC). Based out of Sacramento, she worked on projects in California, Montana, Oregon, and Washington.
Ms. Boari has a Communications degree from Simmons College. Through this degree, she received specific training in graphic design and general knowledge about marketing, public relations, and journalism.
