Kelsey Morse is a member of JFF's Building Economic Opportunity Group. She works closely within the Regional and Sector Strategies team as both a Grants and Contracts Specialist. Her work primarily on federal grants and contracts management. She is specifically responsible for managing fiscal reports and invoices from subawardees to monitor subaward spending, managing consultant, coaches, and service provider contracts, and supporting the Program Directors with budgeting and financial reporting. In her role as Program Manager, she participates as project team member on multiple projects and initiatives concurrently. Ms. Morse works directly with the Community College Workforce Consortium (CCWC) to plan and execute annual convenings and track membership. On her other projects, she participates in planning and facilitating of meetings of diverse stakeholders- including peer meetings, technical assistance workshops, site visits to grantees, and program/policy research meetings.
Ms. Morse started with JFF in 2015 as a program associate and has continued to grow with the Building Economic Opportunity Group. Prior to joining JFF, Ms. Morse worked as a campus organizer working directly with college students in Western, MA at both Holyoke Community College and Westfield State. She also worked with the State of Connecticut as a Resource Assistant in the Department of Energy and Enviornmental Protection. Ms. Morse graduated from Saint Michael's College with a B.A. in Sociology/Anthropology and a B.A. in Environmental Studies.
