Keesa McKoy is responsible for managing print and digital communications for Job for the Future's Communications team. She was formerly the Digital Content and Outreach Manager managing the Students at the Center Hub, as well as the expansion and impact of the hub and the student-centered learning initiative, through social media and communications outreach and relationship building.
Prior to JFF, Ms. McKoy had experience in a variety of content management and production. She produced multimedia marketing collateral for Simmons College, and developed and produced content for the print and online versions of Teach For America’s One Day magazine. She also actively engaged with other One Day reporters in best digital journalism practices, including capturing and editing video, images, and audio.
Ms. McKoy has a long history of engagement in social justice, and has centered her career around education issues and organizations that tailor their work to the educational needs of underrepresented groups. She runs a podcast in her spare time, that focuses on young black professionals and their varied interests and issues.
Ms. McKoy has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Media Studies from CUNY-Hunter College in New York, and a Master of Science degree in Broadcast Journalism from Boston University.
