Juliana Wong is the director of financial administration at Jobs for the Future. In collaboration with the CFO, Ms. Wong helps to ensure JFF’s overall budget development, management, and performance is timely, efficient, cost effective, and transparent to all budget owners. Ms. Wong is also responsible for supervising the day-to-day workflow and major priorities of the Budget and Grants Management team’s work, ensuring that the financial and grants management enterprise systems efficiently and effectively serve JFF’s business needs, and for implementing a comprehensive training program on these systems for the fiscal team, program leadership, and staff.
Ms. Wong has over 15 years of experience in business advisory, finance, and financial systems. Prior to joining JFF, she served as the manager of capital planning & project services at Harvard University, where she led the system development, testing, implementation, and training of two enterprise-wide systems; supported numerous university-wide senior committees focused on process re-engineering and best practices; and actively participated in the development of the process guidelines for, and annual preparation of, the university’s five-year integrated capital plan. Ms. Wong was also a senior financial analyst and associate in Salmon Smith Barney’s (now Citigroup) investment banking division specializing in mergers and acquisitions in New York and Hong Kong, has worked in the fiscal and administrative office at the Harvard Graduate School of Education, and has taught English at the Shanghai Finance University.
Ms. Wong earned her bachelor of science in finance from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and a master of education from the Harvard Graduate School of Education.
