Janine Taylor oversees human resources and talent development at Jobs for the Future. Before coming to JFF, Mrs. Taylor served as senior director of human resources and employee engagement at the May Institute, where she established and led May’s first ever employee recognition and appreciation committee and diversity and inclusion council. In previous roles, Mrs. Taylor was the director of human resources at Vinfen, where she spearheaded the formulation of specific employee-focused strategies aimed at supporting the organization's mission and values. Her employee engagement efforts at Vinfen produced a 10% decrease in employee turnover and a 30% decrease in unemployment costs over the course of one year. Mrs. Taylor has also served as staffing consultant/recruiter at John Leonard, and a senior business analyst at Accenture. Her areas of expertise include diversity and inclusion, employee engagement, training and development, and organizational development.
Mrs. Taylor is a dual-certified human resources professional (SPHR and SHRM-SCP) and holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Boston University and a Masters in Management from Emmanuel College.
