Alexandra Miano provides administrative support to Jobs for the Future's Oakland, CA office. In California, JFF is partnering with state agencies, community organizations, and private foundations to improve educational attainment and build a strong, sustainable pipeline of skilled workers who can fill the jobs that fuel the world’s ninth largest economy.
As the office manager for the California office, Ms Miano manages the operations and facilities of the Oakland office along with direct program support for the JFF California team. She maintains calendars and schedules, plans and coordinates complex meetings and special events, and assists Learning Community staff with ongoing projects. Ms. Miano has over 15 years’ experience in administrative roles including her work as office manager at Santa Monica Pet Medical Center and property manager at Century West Properties in Santa Monica, CA.
Ms. Miano holds a bachelor of fine arts in painting and drawing from California State University, Long Beach.
