Maritza Nunez provides administrative and development support to Jobs for the Future’s Human Resources Department.
Ms. Nunez brings to JFF expertise in the financial, medical, and management industries. Prior to coming to JFF, she was a clients and benefits administrator/senior case manager at Health Bridge Inc., where she worked closely with specialty doctors, pharmacies, and patients to gain access and coverage for their therapy treatments. She managed patients’ benefits and advocated for their rights by coordinating appeals for submission to insurance companies for review and approval.
Ms. Nunez also provided ongoing compliance support to Health Bridge’s corporate training manager. As a training liaison, she was responsible for training, coaching, and conducting performance assessments for new employees. She was assisted in reviewing and updating standard operating procedures in accordance with FDA and company regulations.
Ms. Nunez was born in the Dominican Republic and is fluent in Spanish. She received honors for creating the Roxbury Community College Hispanic Club, where students can learn more about their backgrounds, culture, and history. She received an Associate’s degree in business administration from Roxbury Community College. She has a B.S. and Master’s in business management from Emmanuel College.
