Rubin Williams

Rubin Williams manages Jobs for the Future's human resources, including organizational development, recruitment, orientation, employee relations, and professional development. Within the organization, he serves on the Management and Executive Committees, and on the Diversity Committee.
 
Mr. Williams has over 15 years of diversified human resources experience with a variety of organizations. Prior to coming to JFF, he was Director of Human Resources at MCET, a telecommunications, multimedia, and video production company. At MCET, he not only started and developed the human resources function, but he was promoted to direct operations and sales and marketing; his major accomplishments included the development of effective recruiting strategies and presentation of numerous management, supervisory, and employee development and training programs. At Boston Senior Home Care, Mr. Williams introduced a program that significantly reduced absenteeism and increased productivity. At Millipore Corporation, he designed and implemented an employee referral program that reduced annual recruiting costs. Mr. Williams began his career at Ford Motor Company, where he was recruited into the Ford College Graduate Training Program in the area of labor relations within human resources.
 
Mr. Williams serves as vice chair of the board of directors at Boston Senior Home Care, where he is also chair of the personnel committee. He is a former member of the board of directors of the Eastern Massachusetts Literacy Council.
 
Mr. Williams has a B.A. from Lincoln University. He did graduate studies in management at Central Michigan and Northeastern Universities and received a certificate in Management, Supervisory Development and Team Building from Zenger Miller in Washington, DC. He received a law degree with a concentration in labor law from the Massachusetts School of Law.
